Art department classes are now open for enrollment. Classes are offered in a two session format; each session is 2 hours long over the course of two days. Please inquire about discounts for early bird enrollment. All classes require a disclaimer form to be filled out prior to your first session.

 

Class fees range from $300-$600 each depending on which class is selected.

Set Dressing and Styling

In this set dressing and styling course, students will dive into the art of crafting immersive environments that bring stories and scenes to life. Over two interactive two-hour sessions, participants will learn the fundamentals of set dressing, including spatial arrangement, color theory, and sourcing and selecting props. With guidance from an experienced stylist, students will explore how to create ambiance, enhance visual storytelling, and apply techniques for styling both large and small-scale scenes. By the end of the course, students will have transformed a sample set space and gained practical skills in styling for film, theater, and event environments.

Film Sets and Activations

In this film sets and activations course, students will explore the fundamentals of designing and executing captivating sets and brand activations that make a lasting impact. Across two dynamic two-hour sessions, participants will learn key aspects of set design, including layout, thematic consistency, and building visual appeal for immersive experiences. Led by a seasoned set designer, the course covers practical techniques for creating both film-ready sets and engaging installations for events and activations. By the end, students will have developed a mini mock-up and gained valuable insight into the planning, styling, and creative problem-solving skills essential for bringing ideas from concept to reality on set.
